Attention K-2 families: free books for summer reading!

kids books.PNG

Good news!  There will be two separate eFairs this year for students to choose free summer reading books. Students in K-2 can choose their books starting today, April 30th.  Students in 3-5 will choose their books later in May, so keep an eye out for more information coming soon.

For K-2 families, our school is participating in Book Up Summer so each student in our class gets to choose 12 free books!  The books will come to our school in June, and I will notify you when they have arrived to coordinate pick-up.

But first – everyone in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade needs to order 12 books each. We only have one (1) week – our order deadline is May 7th.

Look through the book categories with your child. When you click on a category – it will open to show you all the books available of that type (e.g. – Picture Books). Note the little blue arrow on the side of each row. You can use it to scroll through, so you can see more books. It is very important that your child chooses books that they are interested in. Let them take the lead.

  1. Add a book to your cart. Click on the book cover image and click on ‘Add to Cart.’

  2. Enter your student’s first and last name, select the student’s teacher and click on ‘Add to Cart.’

  3. Add the other 11 books to your cart.

  4. Once all 12 books have been added, click the ‘Go to Cart’ icon at the top right.

  5. Review your selections and click ‘Submit Order’.

  6. I will let you know when the books arrive in June so we can coordinate pick-up.

  7. These books are a gift from Page Ahead for your family to keep. Read and enjoy them over the summer!

A. No. These books are for her to keep.

     Q.  Is it possible for me to buy some extra books?

A)  No, unfortunately we can’t do that this time.
