Pledge to help design the new Hawthorne Playground and Outdoor Space

Next school year we're kicking off a community design process to re-envision the Hawthorne outdoor space. We want your input on creating diverse outdoor areas for play and exploration, a more welcoming community space, and safer access for pick up and drop off. We're currently applying for a Seattle Neighborhood Matching Funds Grant to secure funding for the design process.

The Neighborhood Matching Fund grant program requires our community to match 1/2 of the requested funding. Our match will be comprised largely from volunteer time from the Hawthorne Community, and this is where we need your help! As part of the grant application, we need individuals to pledge to contribute volunteer hours by taking part in three after-school community design meetings during the 2017-2018 school year. This is a community project and all are welcome. Contact information is required for grant match to be given. Each individual in the household (adults and children) count towards the match. Sign up the whole family below!
